What Cherai Beach taught me

Recently, my family and I went to Cherai Beach. The trip was fun and it taught me a big lesson. Before jumping into the water, we kept our belongings near a stone. The stone was our landmark. Then we enjoyed ourselves in the water for a long time. When we came back, our belongings were not there. We had to walk a long distance to identify the stone and our belongings. We didn’t realize the distance we covered while we were in the water.
Each wave pushed us to move a little. It resulted in a big distance. None of us realized it until we were searching for the stone.

In life, when we need to make a leap of faith, it creates a lot of pressure on us. But if we break the desired results into small and consistent steps, it will help in reducing the pressure and achieve the results in due time. When we were pushed by the waves, we were moving towards our destination little by little and we were enjoying ourselves. But when we were searching for our belongings, we were so focused on the end result that we became too tired and the distance was too long to cover. There was too much pressure on us.
Our journey is also important as the destination. So, remember to see your destination as a result of small steps. And enjoy the journey.
